We had a great turnout – parishioners, neighbors, and sports fans – for Our Lady’s feast day, the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God on New Year’s Day.
One visitor heard about St. Vincent de Paul and #CapsMass while on the train coming from New York City. He said that he was impressed by the “warm welcome” and “hospitality” that we provided; and that he will be back for #NatsMass this summer!
In particular, we thank the Knights of Columbus for the 7 volunteers who provided hot chocolate after Mass, assisted with attending the parking lot, welcoming visitors, and more.
After #CapsMass a group made their way to M & Half Street to welcome game-goers with songs of Christmas. We had parishioners, Young Adult groups from St. Joseph’s and St. Peter’s, and Jonathan Lewis, Director of the Young Adult and Evangelization Initiatives for the Archdiocese, join in this effort.
You can see photos of #CapsMass on our Facebook Page.
